Teen Life Skills - Learn how to advocate for yourself In-Person

The final session in our teen life skills series.  Participants, through discussion and various role playing scenarios, will learn how to advocate for themselves as an adult.  Scenarios will include how to talk to your landlord about something going on in your apartment, how to make a doctors appointment and how to talk to your doctor about what is going on with you, and how to deal with insurance companies.  Teens are often so used to another adult handling life's situations that they can become paralyzed when dealing with them for themselves.  We want them to have the confidence to speak up on their own behalf and be their own best advocate.
