Intermediate Readers Book Club In-Person
Do your kids in grades 2 - 4 love to read? Are they regularly selecting books from our Juvenile Fiction section (not just Beginning Fiction or Tween Fiction)? Then this is the book club for them! We'll all read the month's selected title on our own, then meet together to discuss it and do some fun activities.
In December, we will read Chantel Acevedo's The Curse on Spectacle Key, "a sweetly spooky ghost story about a Cuban American boy who befriends a pair of spirits and tries to break the curse on his island home . . . only to discover a seemingly lost piece of his family’s history in the process."
Copies of the book can be picked up at the reference desk in the Youth Department.
