Intermediate Readers Book Club

Intermediate Readers Book Club In-Person

Do your kids in grades 2 - 4 love to read? Are they regularly selecting books from our Juvenile Fiction section (not just Beginning Fiction or Tween Fiction)? Then this is the book club for them! We'll all read the month's selected title on our own, then meet together to discuss it and do some fun activities.

In May, we'll read the Newbery Honor Book Magnolia Wu Unfolds It All by Chanel Miller, "a fun, funny, and poignant story of friendship and community starring Magnolia Wu, a ten-year-old sock detective bent on returning all the lonely only socks left behind in her parents' NYC laundromat." Copies of the book are available to be checked out from the Youth Department Reference Desk.
