Yoga Nidra with April In-Person

Yoga Nidra is a meditation technique that allows you to deeply relax while remaining fully conscious. This guided meditation practice helps reduce stress, improve sleep, and restore balance to the nervous system. It is a tool for inner exploration, self-discovery and emotional balance. A typical session lasts about 30- 40 minutes and  involves breath awareness, body scanning, intention setting and visualization.

It does not require any poses and can be practiced laying down, sitting in a chair, or while sitting on the ground supported by a wall.

Please dress comfortably and bring a mat, cushions or bolsters for under your head, knees or back, a light blanket and an eye pillow or light covering. Any props that will allow you to build a cozy rest nest for the practice
