Intermediate Readers Book Club In-Person

Do your kids in grades 2 - 4 love to read? Are they regularly selecting books from our Juvenile Fiction section (not just Beginning Fiction or Tween Fiction)? Then this is the book club for them! We'll all read the month's selected title on our own, then meet together to discuss it and do some fun activities.

In honor of National Poetry Month in April, we'll read Sharon Creech's novel-in-verse Love That Doga book written as a series of free-verse poems that shows "how one boy named Jack finds his voice with the help of a teacher, a pencil, some yellow paper, and of course, a dog." Copies of the book will be available to be checked out from the Youth Department Reference Desk once registration opens.
